'Let Them Pass' is a song about not being able to say goodbye on the third anniversary of the first lockdown. It's a song of mourning and personal loss as a consequence of the Government's irresponsible care home failures during the early stages of the pandemic. It's in tribute to all those who put on what little PPE they had to care for others. It's a lament for us all as this passes into history. To mark this anniversary here is our new video for 'Let Them Pass' filmed, edited and directed by Deux Furieuses. Cover photo by Dan Donovan.
"Here come Deux Furieuses with a fire in their belly and a glint in their eyes. 'Let Them Pass' is the duo's new single which comes out to mark the three year anniversary since the start of the first COVID lockdown but this is no soft ballad. Oh no. Moody, steely guitars and punctuating drums create a fittingly funereal atmosphere for vocalist Ros Cariney to sing over as a way of remembering the over 200,000 UK citizens that died from COVID - "we will never forget" she sings with emotion in every word."
